1. Start by
shaping the under layers of the hair working up. Begin at the base of
the section holding the hair between the iron tips. |
|
2. While
maintaining control on the ends, manipulate the iron down the hair shaft
to smooth cuticles. |
|
3.Continue in
wide horizontal sections (1 inch depth) placing the hair between the
iron plates and sliding down the hair shaft. |
|
4.To form the
ends make sure to rotate the iron downward so that the surround heating™
is amplified on the iron edges to create curv in the ends. |
|
| |
5. One half of
the hair style is completed! Notice the difference in the texture of the
hair. Sculpt the hair while manipulating the iron - to maintain body. |
|
6. Use the iron
as you would set with a round brush - overdirect backward and then arc
up and under for lift at the front fringe. |
|
7. Continue in
sections while rotating around the head. Use a combination of curving
the ends under and up to add interest in the style. |
|
8. Use elevation,
sectioning and direction in your technique - just as you would with a
round brush and hair dryer. Be an artist! |
